Every build is public.
There is no private channel and no staged rollout you are not told about. Every release’s installers are public on the feed the application updates itself from. Release notes are written for some builds and not others; where a build has none, this page shows the tag and nothing else, rather than inventing a summary.

How updates reach you.
- The app checks the same feed you can readCompanion polls the public release manifest and offers you the update. The installer is public before you are offered it; where a release has notes, they are on the same page as the installer.
- Updating never touches your dataYour conversations, memory graph and event log live in your own user directory, not inside the application. An update replaces the program and leaves the record alone.
- You can stay where you areDeclining an update leaves the version you have working, and every installer for every past release stays on the feed — so a downgrade is a download rather than a support ticket.
